Today is the day for another fangirl post (read at your own risk). I was going to blog about this later with photos and everything (I have somehow busted my phone's storage again, don't ask) but I think certain things lose meaning when you talk about it later. Anyway, I am in Melbourne at the moment and having an absolute blast. It's gorgeous here (despite the crazy weather) and spending time with my relatives has been awesome. The main point of this post is that I saw Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer today. I SAW THEM. IN REAL LIFE. THEY ARE REAL. AND I AM HAPPY. #FEDALBasically, I went to Kids Tennis Day with my dad and sister today and I was actually really bored at first. Unless you're a kid or a parent, there's really not much to do. The first few hours we just walked around the courts where kids were hitting balls around. There was face-painting, those balloon toy things and shows with characters like Spongebob. Walked past the autograph booth a few times but no one I knew was there. The prices there are exorbitant - we bought a hot dog for $5.90 and it was probably the worst hot dog I've ever tasted and two pizzas for $9.80 each which once again, didn't taste good. I also saw coconuts for $9 and began to question my life at that point. Wow I typed a lot about food. Mostly because it's important to me, but long story short, bring your own food to these events. Some even better advice: don't go to these events, only the part where you see the tennis players (and that's usually the last hour) is worth it (honest opinion). I think it's more worth it to get good seats to an actual match, even it's for the first round or something. It's much more action packed and will keep you entertained throughout the whole thing. At 12 we went to Rod Laver Arena and that in itself was amazing. The atmosphere was incredible and I can only imagine what the Men's Final is like. We did the Mexican wave around the whole court and then all the linespeople, ballboys, etc arrived. The linespeople were so cute, they were dancing and this lady went up to the security guard (who had to stand still) and started dancing and waving her arms in front of him HAHAHAHAHA.Then the tennis players all came on and it was so exciting ARGJHGFAJKA. Hewitt, Stosur, Azarenka, Rafter and then "please welcome the world number one... RAFA!!!!!!!!!!!!!" at that moment I was literalyl like WHAT THE FAKUKC IS GOING ON OMAFJAIULDHAHFKAJD" and then Raphael the ninja turtle came out and I was like wat is life. And then they were like 'HERE'S THE REAL RAFAEL NADAL' AND THEN HE WALKED OUT AND HE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL LIKE THE CHISELED GOD OF MY DREAMS AND I WAS SCREAMING AND MFMAOGFNHAGAJKGJKG OK I SRSLY DID NOT EXPECT HIM TO BE THERE I KNEW ROGER WAS GOING FOR SURE BUT NADAL WHAT WHAT WHAT WAHT WHAT WHTA IS MY LOVE REALLY HERE IS THIS REAL LIFE OR ANOTHER ONE OF MY FANTASIES I LOVE HIM SO M UCHRoger Federer was the last one to enter and the crowd absolutely loved him. I think Roger someone that everyone loves and respects, he's that precious. Anyway, they were separated in teams - Rafa, Pat and Sam were "The Turtles" (LMAO) and Roger, Lleyton and Victoria was "Team Spongebob" and in short, they had a lot of fun on the court and we really enjoyed watching them. We were placed in the GA seating but my sister and I rushed to the front at one point to take photos. Tbh, I think she was the only one taking photos because I was too busy absorbing Rafa's beauty (there's a lot to absorb). He's even more gorgeous in real life (didn't know that was possible) - he has really nice tanned skin, a really cute smile, nice legs, DEM BICEPS OH MY BABY CHICKEN NUGGETS DEM BICEPS and yeh well i gotta say it... dat ass. DAT. ASS.In the end, everyone was rushing to the front. for them to sign stuff. My sister and I ran there (I don't think we were even supposed to go to that area but oh well) but there were a lot of people just standing on seats and pushing and shoving. I had someone's camera face just dangling on my face throughout most of the chaos. I did get to see Rafa up close and personal though, so that was really nice :'-) and I might have forgotten how to breathe. I was just yelling out "HI RAFA!!!!!!!!!!" and waving at him. Sighs, he's so cute. He was really, really close like if I fell off the stand I would've landed right in front of him. The guy in front of me got his signature, if that gives you an idea of our very clOSE PROXIMITY!!!This post probably has a lot of grammatical errors because I'm really tired but I will fix them later. ROOTING FOR FEDAL IN THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN. I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY, I HAD A BRILLIANT ONE BECAUSEFEDERERNADALFEDAL!!!!!!!!!!!!I'M SO HAPPY I LOVE YOU ALL |
