Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Hope you're all having awesome celebrations and that this year will bring you luck, prosperity, good health and all that jazz. It is already February and I have retreated back to having no life... There is one month until uni starts and I have a feeling I'll be like "WATCH ALL THE TV SHOWS!!!! LOOK AT ALL THE SHEMAR!!!!" Anyway, I don't really remember what happened but recap of the past week: Last Sunday, Julie came over for the Australian Open Men's Finale. We ate burnt pizza while watching the Biggest Loser (#life), watched Criminal Minds, ate more junk food and then attempted to burn some of it off by playing Just Dance (we are the sexiest dancers in the world). She also slid down the stairs and bumped into the wall. Do I even want to talk about the finale. :'-( It was so emotional seeing my baby Rafa in the finale but he was in so much pain I was dying inside. When he took the 3rd set I wanted to cry ok. Even panini started clapping for him??? And people who were eventually supporting Stan shifted to Nadal's side so many emoshunz just remembering it. I'm so proud of him for finishing despite his injury and his thank you speech....... "Sorry to finish this way, I tried very very hard" AND THEN HE STARTED CRYING AND I COULDN'T DEAL AND I STARTED CRYING AND JULIE SAW ME CRY AND I'M PRETTY SURE HER FACE WAS LIKE ಠ_ಠ. Must go to Melbourne to watch him next year, I love him too much. We watched Mulan afterwards then went upstairs to watch two things Julie suggested: a documentary about cannibalism and Sex Sent me to the ER and it is during these moments that I wonder how we became friends. Slept at about 3, got out of bed at 11 and went to Pancakes to eat. Good 2 days with the panini, but we must go to the actual AO next year. :'D
Subtitles have never been more relevant to my life
This is Julie on her phone while I was drooling over Nadal. She started reading Fedal fanfiction to me during the match, 100% focused. Had our annual gathering with Denise, Ken, Chris and our families at Bankstown Buffet. I ate so much I couldn't even eat dessert lol and when we played snap, Denise started bleeding HAHAHAHAHA. Photo-taking time was chaotic as always... "one more photo" turned into 10 more
Went to Chris' today and look what I found HAHAHAHA mini-us
Picture of the week goes to my sister, whose editing skills are so impeccable you can't even tell it's edited.
