3 things happen when an exam is about to come up: I clean my room, watch a lot of movies and blog. My room is tidy, I've watched 4 movies and 3 documentaries within the past two weeks so might as well top it off with a blog post. Might as well add that I have a neuroscience exam on Tuesday and my knowledge is that of a 4 year old's. Most of the time, I joke about knowing nothing but I... really wish I was joking this time.
Anyway, my old phone completely broke down and I lost all my contacts and music but aunt got me a new phone just in time. (I apologise in advance if I post random pictures, I'm just amazed at the photo quality of iphones). Also some photos are edited while others aren't because I didn't realise that once I take the photos off my phone... the only way I could put them back on to edit... was through itunes... and let's not talk about my technological difficulties.
Uni has started again which makes me want to cry in a bad way. Mum has given me permission to go to Korea again with a bunch of friends which makes me want to cry in a good way. But then I have to save up and that makes me want to cry again. But seriously, I'm gonna make a decent effort to save up because Korea.... and shopping.... and the dog cafe I'M MOST EXCITED ABOUT THE DOG CAFE :'-)
Should really be studying, but will give a (once again) half-assed attempt to recount the past month
- Went to the zoo with potato and mish and it was a really good day because don't remember the last time I went to the zoo and I just love animals. While waiting for potato, the first place mish and I visited was the bird enclosure and we were so excited I think we took about 50 photos of birds. Potato came afterwards, we ate lunch, took photos, fed some grass to some goats and were still in the zoo when they announced it was closing, LOL
- Dwayne's party #sluglife
- Went to Glebe Markets by myself and it's my favourite market so far. Was also the first time I've gone out by myself (in Australia) and I actually really enjoyed it; I thought I'd suffer from the lonely syndrome but it was all good. Although the self-control was not too good. Also, I realised I lost my necklace and spent half an hour walking around the markets looking for it but couldn't find it. I've been wearing it since I was 16 and had a habit of touching it, so now that it's not there it make me sad.. Kimbo if you're reading this, I'm sorry I lost it T__T
- Hung out with uni friends/friends outside of uni for lunch, dinner, etc
- Friends crashed mine and vice-versa
- Have seen mish about 10,000 times these past two weeks and there was some degree of chaos and struggle during each meeting
- Went to the Vinnies annual homeless dinner with Shirley where we catered them a 3-course meal. They sat down at the tables while we served as their cooks and waiters and and near the end of the event, we handed out prizes which were care packs filled with food/water, socks, blankets, scarves, etc and it was a really heart-warming experience, especially knowing that they probably haven't had a 3-course meal or people serve them and treat them well in a very long time. Also had some great conversations with some of them and met some other volunteers as well who were also very awesome
- Have been listening to a lot of Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran these days
- Listen to Leave Your Lover (click), The Lonely Hour (click) and Thinking Out Loud (click) THEY'RE ALL SUCH BEAUTIFUL SONGS
- Bye friends, hope you're all well and hopefully I will blog within the next 2 weeks
