Happy spring, everyone! So glad winter is over. Now I don't have to wear pants at home.
Update on my life:
  • About 95% sure I flunked my neuro test, it will seriously be amazing if I pass. Oh well, just have to do better in the next exam
  • Finished an exam today, have one on Wednesday and next week... both of which I have not studied for HAHAHAHAHAHA fml
  • Shopping for toys with Sharon + lunch with mum :-)

  • Cafe with Anson x2 before work. 1st time) "Studied" 2nd time) Played Minesweeper together for... 1 hour and won... 1 game. The interior of the cafe is fit for a king (so, so pretty) but the food is very mediocre

  • Food adventure last Friday with my two loves. The amount of food we ate is truly amazing and very... awesome (not sure if in a good way or that there was just a lot of awe involved).
  • After that, visited UNSW for the first time since attending open day I think and went on a perilous voyage up Julie's steps on struggles. Stayed with Mish for 1.5 hours in the same position while Julie went to work and then... we went to get more food at the friday night markets. *Moon emoji*. Transformed into a servant and held the takoyaki contained for m&j while they ate it on the side of the road in true Hong Kong/China style. ALL IN ALL, A GREAT DAY FILLED WITH GREAT FOOD AND SEMI-GREAT FRIENDS. (Jk, ily guys)

  • Sister's confirmation + feast at the yau residence. Food coma round 2 (I forgot to take photos of the food because I was too busy penetrating the food with my chopsticks)

  • Officially finished my job at Lidcombe :'-(  It only lasted 3 weeks but the students, colleagues and my bosses there are such sweet people. I was asking one of my students about school and he was telling me about how it doesn't have a great reputation and "a lot of people seem to hate it". I asked him why and he said that people at his school  I know for drinking, using drugs, etc. I told him to try to stay away from that sort of stuff if possible and he told me he will. Spent the rest of the lesson doing french (HAHAHA) and although he struggled at first, he eventually began to get the hang of it. Still with mistakes but I just think that every child deserves the opportunity to be educated regardless of your culture, status, ethnicity and when you give them that opportunity, they can do great things.
